Exciting Changes!

Dear Insured,

The idea for Metro Insurance started with Tom and Sandy Smith over 20 years ago, born from a passion for contractors, and a love for insurance. Our focus has always been on commercial products such as work comp, general liability, BOPs, bonds, group medical, and commercial auto, and we’ve made a name for ourselves doing it well. The phrase “family owned” doesn’t just describe our business, it describes how we treat and service our clients and employees. We’re all a family, one that’s been here for and because of people like you.

In the past, Metro has been approached by personal-lines carriers time after time. We’ve mainly offered a few personal-lines insurance products as accommodation to our commercial-lines insureds. But when we were approached by Liberty Mutual / Mutual of Omaha late last year, we knew there was a special opportunity. We could expand our scope of business, and also to improve our current personal-lines offerings to our existing insureds. We are also excited to be offering, for the first time in our history, Medi-Care insurance products.

It took quite a bit of work, training, and commitment, but we made it happen! We knew we had to do something special to celebrate this new chapter….

We are very excited to announce these new partnerships with a give-away contest, and completely redesigned branding for Metro Insurance Services. “Here for you” is our new company mantra, and it’s accompanied by a fresh logo that probably feels similar to you. It’s part of our renewed commitment to bringing you the best value in the local insurance industry. Liberty Mutual and Omaha are both extremely well known for being strong, well-rounded carriers, and we’re excited to bring them on board for our journey.

We all hope you will take advantage of this new opportunity, so to encourage you, Metro has provided some great incentives to spend that little bit of time it takes to review your policies.
